How we operate :

Accurate feasibility : Researchlink performs an in depth feasibility study for each clinical trial proposal. This includes access to patients at trial sites, staff experience and the logistics to properly run the trial.

Timely and accurate Ethics Committee submission

Site support : When appropriate, we provide nursing support to site investigators to facilitate the recruitment of patients by removing the administrative and handling load from the investigators.

Patient recruitment : The initial training of each GP contains a lesson about the relation between doctor and patient in this particular situation. The GP learns to present the study, to inform the patient and to obtain his informed consent. For each trial, recruitment strategies are studied by our staff and adapted to the case in order to give the best answer to the situation based on our experience.

Patient retention : Working with GPs, usually enjoying a long relationship with their patients, reduces the loss of subjects. To give the study the best chances of success, ResearchLink develops a team spirit involving the coordinating investigator, the investigators, the study nurse and the subjects.
